Summer Camp Info
Camper Rules
You'll receive a copy of these upon arrival on the first day of camp, and both you and your child will be asked to sign an acknowledgement. We encourage you to talk through these rules with your child ahead of time.

This is a “hands on” art camp. Students are expected to participate in all activities, help and encourage others, and keep themselves occupied in a positive way if they complete their project before other campers (alternate projects will be available). Some projects may not be of interest to all students, but we do expect each student to participate in all of the projects. We aim to provide a wide variety of projects to expose them to various art techniques.
-
Each student is expected to keep their work area tidy and clean up after each project.
-
Students are expected to obey all instructions given by the instructors. If a student refuses to comply, their parent will be called to pick them up, but will be allowed to return the next day. A second offense will result in the permanent removal of the student.
-
The studio has a lot of breakable items, so rowdy behavior will not be tolerated. Anything broken due to carelessness will be charged to the student. We do realize that accidents happen, so no penalty will be assessed for genuine accidents.
-
We will do our best to finish on time each day but the time to finish projects may vary by student, so please be prepared to wait a few minutes if they are not finished with their project.
-
Some projects will need to be fired in the kiln after the week is complete and will need to be picked up at the studio the following week.
-
This is art, and sometimes it gets messy. Aprons will be provided, but we also recommend students wear old clothes in case they get paint on them (glaze will wash out, paint does not once dry).
-
A Little Bit of Art will take all reasonable precautions to avoid injury, and while the art projects being done are generally safe, the students will be working with glass and sharp tools. Parent and child agree to not hold A Little Bit of Art or its teachers liable in the unlikely event that an injury occurs.
-
We will be taking breaks, so students may bring a snack. Unfortunately, we will not provide snacks.
We look forward to a fun and rewarding time!
